Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Calcy Vault mobile application ("App") operated by us ("we", "us", or "our").


By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. USE OF THE APP

Calcy Vault is a private file vault application that encrypts and stores your personal files locally on your device. You may use this App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.


You agree not to:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose

- Store any illegal content including but not limited to child exploitation material, stolen data, or content that violates any applicable law

- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App

- Use the App to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others

- Attempt to circumvent or disable any security features of the App

2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR DATA

You are solely responsible for all files and content you store in the App. We have no access to your files and cannot be held responsible for the content you choose to store.


You are responsible for:

- Remembering your vault PIN — we cannot recover it for you

- Backing up important files — we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or App uninstallation

- The legality of the content you store

3. NO WARRANTY

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:


- Fitness for a particular purpose

- Uninterrupted or error-free operation

- Accuracy or reliability of results

- That the App will be free from viruses or other harmful components


You use the App at your own risk.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:


- Loss of data or files stored in the App

- Loss of access to the vault due to forgotten PIN

- Device loss or theft resulting in access to stored files

- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

5. PIN AND ACCESS

Your vault PIN is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your PIN and cannot reset or recover it. If you forget your PIN, you will lose access to the encrypted contents of your vault. There is no recovery option.


You are solely responsible for keeping your PIN secure and confidential.

6. DURESS FEATURE

The App includes an optional Duress PIN feature that displays a fake empty vault when a secondary PIN is entered. This feature is provided as a personal safety tool. We make no guarantees regarding its effectiveness in any particular situation and accept no liability for outcomes related to its use.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App and all its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.


You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes only.

8. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE APP

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also release updates that change features or functionality. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

9. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice, if we believe you are violating these Terms.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
